Karabiners and Pulleys
Aluminium, or 'alloy', karabiners are usually restricted to fall protection systems because they are lighter and available in a wider range of shapes, styles, colors, and sizes.
Coloured aluminium karabiners have normally been anodized to improve corrosion resistance and harden the aluminium. Benefits for the end user include better abrasion resistance and reduced surface friction.
